So I missed the Paradise Comics Convention in Toronto this last weekend. I really wanted to go but with A. coming back from Scotland to see her dying grandmother and my general lack of funds I decided to give it a pass. I wanted to see the creators and try to make a few connections and gather some more information first hand about my two mystery projects. I was hoping to meet Chris Butcher of The Beguiling and Comics.212 fame but that will have to wait until June when I’m in Toronto for a wedding (not mine).
I’ve never been to a comic convention. It’s like never being to a gay wedding – one of the fifty things you should do before you die but I haven’t done yet.
